- Carlton® A3EP-RP ripping saw chain series features a factory-ground 10° to 15° top plate filing angle (standard crosscut chains use a 25° to 35° angle), designed for portable chainsaw mills for sawing logs into boards and slabs
- This shallower angle slices smoothly parallel to the wood grain, creating less friction and preventing the chain from binding in the cut.
